An initiative of the Rouben Malian Memorial Foundation Inc.

Potential is universal. Opportunity should be too.

Admit Path is an initiative of the Rouben Malian Memorial Foundation Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to the fundamental belief that opportunity should be universal. Admit Path carries that belief into education at every stage of life, from choosing a high school to learning in retirement.

In memory of Rouben Malian

A foundation built on integrity, tenacity and big bets.

The Rouben Malian Memorial Foundation was created by Rouben Malian’s family, friends and colleagues after his passing in 2018, to honor a man remembered for his integrity, his business acumen and his strong moral compass.

Rouben was known for taking calculated risks and seeing opportunity where others saw obstacles, a philosophy the Foundation calls “Big Bets.” The Foundation began with charitable work in the Armenian community, a cause close to Rouben’s heart, and has since grown into an organization headquartered in New York City that serves both local and global needs.

Integrity

Honesty, dignity and respect in everything the Foundation does.

Tenacity

Persistence in tackling hard problems like the digital divide and poverty.

Big bets

A willingness to back bold, transformative ideas with high potential to help.

The Foundation’s work

Closing the gap between potential and opportunity

The Foundation works across immediate relief and long-term advocacy, focusing on the digital divide, educational access and economic empowerment.

Pillar 1

Community Engagement & Education

Closing the digital gap with devices, internet access and supervised “Learning Hubs,” and connecting families and schools with the resources they need.

Pillar 2

Vocational Training & Career Success

Digital literacy and vocational training, plus career coaching, résumé and interview preparation, and partnerships with employers.

Pillar 3

Health & Family Wellness

Support for vulnerable families, from crisis assistance and essential-resource drives to access to healthcare and cultural programs.

Example of the Foundation’s work

The Classroom Without Walls

A K–12 education project in Armenia’s rural Tavush region that brought internet infrastructure, laptops with educational software and mentorship to village schools.

Where Admit Path fits

Extending the Foundation’s mission across the lifespan

Devices, connectivity and training open doors. Good guidance helps people walk through them. Admit Path builds on the Foundation’s education and career pillars with evidence-based guidance for every stage of learning, so more people can become well educated, support themselves and their families, and make a difference in their communities.

Because Admit Path is a Foundation initiative, its mission comes first: we tell people when they don’t need to spend more, publish our prices and keep free access at the center of everything we do.

Mission
How the initiative works

Revenue that serves the mission

Admit Path charges for some services so it can sustain itself and reach more people. Every pricing decision is designed to widen access, not narrow it.

Free for everyone

The Lite readiness assessment and our Insights guides are free, with no account needed.

Sliding scale

Paid services are free below the federal poverty line, with deep discounts up to four times that level.

Five funds one

For every five full-price reports, we fund one for someone who couldn’t otherwise afford it.

Partners

Schools, nonprofits, employers and community organizations can sponsor access for the people they serve.

Our commitments

Living up to the Foundation’s name

An initiative carrying Rouben Malian’s name has to earn trust every day. These commitments apply to every service Admit Path offers.

Read our code of ethics
  • Mission before revenue. We tell people when they don’t need to spend more, even when that earns us less.
  • Honesty about uncertainty. We never guarantee admission or claim to predict decisions.
  • Privacy by design. We never sell personal data, and anyone can ask us to delete theirs.
  • Equity of access. Cost should never be the reason someone goes without good guidance.
  • Public accountability. We’ll publish an annual impact report covering people supported, free and discounted services delivered, and the accuracy of our models.
